This course aims to strengthen participants' macroeconomic forecasting and modeling skills through the application of standard statistical techniques. It is designed to cover the elements of economic theory and econometrics that are needed to construct a macro-econometric model that can be used for forecasting and for macroeconomic policy analysis. This course will teach topics from an applied perspective and demonstrate the techniques using E-Views.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?The course is particularly well-suited for officials involved in developing forecasts that are used in the design and implementation of macroeconomic policy. All government officials are welcome to apply.
