About Wellness Conference Kenya Ltd
Founded in 2012, the idea of holding an Annual Corporate Wellness Conference, Trade Fair and Training was formed to realize the mission of providing health promotion and wellness professionals unparalleled resources and services that fuel professional and
personal growth.
Our Mission
The mission of the Wellness Conference Kenya is to serve the professionals and organizations that promote optimal health and wellness in individuals and communities.
We accomplish this mission by:
- Identifying quality resources and resource persons to share their expertise
- Providing quality continuing education and resources
- Promoting opportunities for life-long learning
- Providing new and innovative professional development programs
- Developing effective educational lifestyle assessments
- Serving professionals and organizations that promote health and wellness
Our Vision
The vision of the Wellness Conference Kenya is to promote:
- the understanding of the dynamic factors that contribute to the health and well-being as they emerge through research and practice.
- the sharing and development of strategies to positively influence those factors that support a population with healthy, balanced lifestyles.
The 1st Corporate Wellness Conference and Training was held on August 27-30, 2013 and thereafter this has become an annual event to cater for both the local and regional professional in the wellness sector. We must accept that we, as humans, could live better,
healthier lives through the principles of balance and awareness. In 1976, Dr. Hettler released what was to become the base philosophy for the National Wellness Institute of America: the Six Dimensions of Wellness model. The six dimensions are intellectual,
emotional, social, spiritual, occupational, and physical. By balancing these six dimensions and actively seeking to improve them, the organization’s founders believed individuals could improve their overall well-being.
Each year we shall be welcoming Wellness enthusiasts and professionals in Nairobi, for our Annual Wellness Conference, Trade Fair and Training. Together with our partners and other individuals who are giving voice to the wellness movement in Africa, we
look forward to developing more healthier working nations and communities.
