Overall Course Objective:

To increase your project monitoring and evaluation skills for effective and successful project implementation and tracking for results while expanding your career opportunities.

Overall Course Outcome:

This Monitoring and Evaluation for Donor Projects is anonsite advanced certificate-level course which is a comprehensive review of Monitoring and Evaluation concepts, tools and techniques as an important ingredient for effective donor project implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

The monitoring and evaluation course will introduce learners to tools and techniques to measure and report project/programme results to your stakeholders including donors, funders, supervisors or the general public. At the end of the course, participants will become familiar with the components of an effective monitoring and evaluation plan and methods and tools to conduct data collection, statistical analysis and reporting.

The course will enable you to prepare the ground for undertaking Monitoring and Evaluation and analyzing the results. Results Based Monitoring and Evaluation will also help participants understand the key components for effective M&E in order to improve management performance and evidence-based decision making.

Training Methodology:

The Course Trainer has over 15 years’ experience in Professional Practice, Training and Consultancy in the area of Monitoring & Evaluation having worked with different training institutions, CBOs, NGOs, consultancy firms, foreign embassies and private companies. The Course Trainer is currently based in Africa working as a Monitoring & Evaluation Consultant for International NGOs, International consultancy firms, foreign embassies, donor and missions. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree , Post-Graduate Diploma in Project Management, Master of Arts (Monitoring & Evaluation) and currently about to complete a PhD in the same area. He is an active professional member in the following Professionals’ Associations: Evaluation Society of Kenya, Project Management Institute (PMI), Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and Global Leadership Interlink (GLI).
