GIS AND STATISTICAL ANALYSIS FOR WASH PROGRAMMES

Introduction

GIS technology can be integrated into the implementation and monitoring of target-based interventions in water sanitation and hygiene (WASH). The technology helps to create a model of the complex environment in a simpler and easier way that enhances understanding of the environment, paving way for proper and informed decisions. Free open-source GIS software for both desktop and web applications is opening up possibilities for capturing and processing geographical data, and then publishing maps via the internet.

DURATION

5 Days
