In many Sub-Saharan countries, the management of public utilities have either been privatized or constituted into autonomous public bodies operating on the profit motive. The key challenges facing these bodies is the pricing and financial management
of service delivery, with the view to meeting clients’ needs more effectively and generating adequate funds for rehabilitation, modernization and expansion.
