Introduction
Each year, the Public Accounts Committee highlights a number of non-compliance cases relating to procurement in various ministries. Some of these cases were directly or indirectly caused by non-procurement officers who do not fully understand the government's procurement policies and procedures.
As a public officer, it is important for you to have a more complete understanding of policies and procedures within the Government Procurement (GP) framework in order to avoid potentially costly missteps or embarrassment to your agency.
