Water sanitation and hygiene in humanitarian crisis is a critical issue that requires attention to avoid outbreak of infectious waterborne diseases. Such diseases can cause high cases of morbidity and mortality following a disaster further escalating the panic mode making it difficult to control.
This course prepares qualified personnel (e.g. engineers and public health professionals) interested in becoming aid workers to further their skills and learn more about humanitarian WASH methods.
