The art of presenting your ideas, action points or recommendations to an audience in a simple way within a short amount of time is known as “pitching”. It’s an important skill to have – if you can’t explain your opinion, your recommendation or your work to an important audience then how are you going to make any difference or get anyone to take up your research?   • How you can prepare and deliver a “pitch” to reach specific target audiences.
  • How to communicate research, key messages, and recommendations more effectively, short message about your work and know exactly what they are asking of their listener.
  • Interactive introduction and making the case for always having a clear message in your pocket and some easy Dos and Dont’s.
  • Practical sessions on individual pitches and feedback from listeners and facilitators.
  • The impact of research on decision-making by practitioners and managers
  • Case studies from country based examples.
  • There will also be time for a re-pitch for those who want to incorporate feedback they received.

The 2 day course costs 300$ (30,000 KES), The Cost includes all training fees, materials, lunch and refreshments as well as certificates and 6 month post training support.
