Introduction

Occupiers are mandated by law to ensure that safety and health of visitors and workers is guaranteed. Safety in workplace encompasses three dimension; safe place, safe person and post incident management. Occupiers must not only provide facilities for this purpose but also ensure there is proper understanding and utilization of the said facilities. This therefore requires that occupiers demonstrate leadership and guidance in adoption of safe behaviours, creating a sustainable culture of safety.
